WHAT IS THE GRIDIRON BOOSTER CLUB?
The Auburn Riverside High School Gridiron
Club is a non-profit organization whose primary
focus is to support the Riverside Football Program through
growth and Awareness of its need for a healthy football
program and how it equates to a healthy school.
The Gridiron Club is dedicated to strengthening the
relationship between the school, its team, the students,
and their parents, supporting a quality football program
that is dedicated to the physical and mental development
of young men, and increasing fundraising through better
organization and education (get the community behind
football).
WHAT DOES THE GRIDIRON CLUB DO?
The Gridiron Club Provides funding for
the following items that are not in the school's budget:
Post Game meals for the Football Team, the Cheerleaders,
and the Band.
Buses to transport the team to a spring football camp.
Football Camp Scholarships for those players who are
unable to fund their participation.
New technology that can assist the Coaches and players
in pursuing higher education.
Additional Weight lifting equipment.
Funding for the Coaches participation in football clinics.
Stationary and standardized coach's wear.
Food and awards (trophies) for the yearly football banquet.
Football Programs
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
The Gridiron Club is looking for parents
who want to become involved in helping out the kids
and the program. We appreciate any kind of help. Whether
you want to donate a little or a lot of time and/or
money, the Gridiron Club can use your help. We do a
lot throughout the year, so there are a number of things
in which you can become involved. Help can be in any
form. Your time is greatly appreciated. You can help
at the games by selling programs or merchandise. If
you like golf, then helping with the Golf Scramble might
be right up your alley. If you're a business person,
then advertising your business in our football programs
or sponsoring a golf hole has a large impact. If you
don't have the time, a donation would als help the program.
It is amazing how much the little things can help in
building a program that benefits the kids, school and
the community. Please contact us at our e-mail address

is not a hard sell. We are appreciative of any assistance.

WHAT ARE THE GRIDIRON CLUB'S GOALS?
Long Term Goals
To continue the growth and awareness of the need for
a healthy football program.
Strengthen the relationship between the school, its
team, the students, and their parents.
Support a quality football program dedicated to the
physical and mental development of the Players.
Get Player's parents involve in supporting the team
.
Mid Term Goals
Create awareness of the important link between the football
team, the cheerleading team, and the band.
Change the perceptions and the policies of the school
and of the district in order to create a better environment
for the students.
Short Term Goals
Increase parent support by educating them about the
benefits of supporting the club through newsletters,
etc.
Purchase a Landro for the coaching staff.
Increase fundraising through better organization and
education (get the community behind football)
Develop a budget to support the club's strategy .
WHEN ARE THE MEETINGS?
The Gridiron Club currently conducts meetings on the
second Wednesday of each month at Auburn Riverside High
School at 7:00 PM. It is usually located in room 718.
